Jupiter in Cancer | June 2025 - June 2026
On June 9, 2025, Jupiter moves from Gemini to Cancer. Jupiter remains in Cancer until June 30, 2026. This shifts the emphasis to emotional security, your home, and taking care of yourself and your environment.
In our book Your Being we described Jupiter as the planet of creativity. Jupiter enables you to gain insight into the intelligence that Mother Earth possesses. As described in the book Your Beliefs there is abundance; enough for everyone. Unless you create blockages by thinking in terms of scarcity, which ultimately causes this to become a reality. Jupiter helps you learn to live from a place of abundance.
In astrology, Jupiter is seen as the planet of expansion, (self-)development, and consciousness. Happiness and growth, Jupiter shows us where we seek meaning, take risks, or experience abundance. The planet strengthens what it touches and stimulates optimism, confidence, and opportunities.
Jupiter in Cancer
Jupiter in Cancer is about emotional security, your home, and care—for yourself and those around you. Cancer is known for its nurturing and protective energy. The Moon rules Cancer and provides emotional intelligence, intense feelings, and the ebb and flow of the tides.
Jupiter in Cancer strengthens our desire for security, connection, and belonging. Cancer is protective, intuitive, and loyal. It is therefore important to pay close attention to your own boundaries and to communicate them clearly. Cancer energy has a tendency to prioritize caring for others over caring for yourself.

Jupiter Square Saturn
Jupiter forms a square with Saturn and Neptune in Aries when it enters Cancer. Jupiter and Saturn have a 20-year cycle from conjunction to conjunction (when they are together). This cycle has a major influence on the zeitgeist and our view of the world. The starting point of this cycle was in December 2020 at 0 degrees of Aquarius. Core themes of this cycle are freedom, independence, and autonomy. To what extent are you your own authority?
This square is the first hard aspect of the cycle. It has been active since August 2024. It was exact then, again in December, and for the last time on June 15, after which they will each follow their own path to form an opposition in December 2029.
The first hard aspect, also known as the opening square, revolves around the question, “How far have we come since the starting point?” So, what has changed for you since December 2020 in terms of freedom, independence, and autonomy? What insights do you have now that you didn't have then, and what changes have you made? Or undergone, if you haven't taken the necessary steps yourself.
On June 15, they will be in this exact square for the last time. It is the final manifestation of this energy. This time in the first degrees of Aries and Cancer. This is the 'world axis'. 0 degrees of the cardinal signs (Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn) with a deviation of 2 degrees is seen as the world axis. This means that we can also see the effects of this energy on a global level.
