Full Moon in Sagittarius | June 11, 2025
On June 11, 2025, there will be a Full Moon in Sagittarius. The Moon, Mars, and Chiron form a grand trine in fire signs. Jupiter, Saturn, and Neptune are active, and Uranus will enter the last degree of Taurus in a few days. See what this means for you in terms of energy.
Full Moon in Sagittarius
A Full Moon is a time of completion and closure. It is a good time to let go of what no longer serves you. It is a moment of reflection. It brings to light, makes visible and gives you insight. The Full Moon is a powerful and energetic peak, shining a light on the facets of the sign it is in. In this case, Sagittarius.
Sagittarius represents the adventurer, visionary, and traveler. It represents the meaning of life, contains the will to move forward, and is future-oriented. Enthusiastic, optimistic, and inspiring.
Moon, Mars, and Chiron Reinforce Each Other
The Moon in Sagittarius, Mars in Leo, and Chiron in Aries together form a grand trine in fire signs. With grand trines, energies support and reinforce each other, creating synergy. Fire signs are about personal vision, willpower, and the strength to achieve it.
Mars stirs up the warrior within you so that you can face the world with bravado. It helps you overcome your fears. It can give you the drive and energy to actually tackle things.
Mars is the ruler of Aries, which is where Chiron is positioned. Aries represents the “I am.” Chiron is seen as the wounded healer and symbolises your greatest pain in your natal chart, but also your greatest strength once you have dealt with this pain. In its current position, Chiron is about our collective wounds. In Aries, this focuses on who we are, our autonomy and breaking free from our victim role.
Moon and Jupiter in Each Other's Signs
The Moon is in Sagittarius, which is ruled by Jupiter. The Moon itself rules Cancer, which is the sign Jupiter enters on June 9, two days before the Full Moon. Jupiter will remain in Cancer for about a year.
In our book Your Being we described Jupiter as the planet of creativity. Jupiter allows you to understand the intelligence that Mother Earth possesses. In astrology, Jupiter is seen as the planet of expansion, (self-)development, and consciousness. In Gemini, the emphasis was on communication and information. In Cancer, it is about emotional security, your home, and nurturing. Yourself and your environment.
Saturn and Jupiter Bring Tension
Jupiter forms a square with Saturn and Neptune in Aries. Jupiter and Saturn have a 20-year cycle from conjunction to conjunction (when they are together). This cycle has a major influence on the zeitgeist and our view of the world. The starting point of this cycle was in December 2020 at 0 degrees of Aquarius. Core themes of this cycle are freedom, independence, and autonomy. To what extent are you your own authority?
This square is the first hard aspect of the cycle. It has been active since August 2024. It was exact then, again in December, and for the last time on June 15, after which they will each follow their own path to form an opposition in December 2029.
The first hard aspect, also known as the opening square, revolves around the question, “How far have we come since the starting point?” So, what has changed for you since December 2020 in terms of freedom, independence, and autonomy? What insights do you have now that you didn't have then, and what changes have you made? Or undergone, if you haven't taken the necessary steps yourself.
On June 15, they will be in this exact square for the last time. It is the final manifestation of this energy. This time in the first degrees of Aries and Cancer. This is the 'world axis'. 0 degrees of the cardinal signs (Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn) with a deviation of 2 degrees is seen as the world axis. This means that we can also see the effects of this energy on a global level.
Uranus in Critical Degree Taurus
The next day, on June 16, Uranus enters the anaretic degree of Taurus, also known as the critical degree, before taking its first steps in Gemini on July 7. When a generational planet is in the last degree of a sign, its energy intensifies. The planet completes what it started before moving on to a new sign to do its work there. Uranus causes upheaval through shock movements with the aim of sparking revolution and innovation. Taurus is about security, stability, and comfort, particularly in terms of material possessions.
Full Moon: Step Out of Your Comfort Zone
The energy of this period, and the Full Moon in particular, offers an excellent opportunity to step out of your comfort zone, let go of what is holding you back from being the visionary of your own life journey, and embark on that adventure.
