What do you do to get validation or recognition?
Would you make the same choices if no one would ever admire, acknowledge, or appreciate you?
How much of what you do, do you do because you genuinely want to and it suits you? And how much because you want to prove something? That difference is not always easy to recognize. Especially not when you are successful and receive appreciation for what you do.
You can have the same career, the same ambition, and the same achievements. On the outside, no one sees the difference. But on the inside, there is a world of difference. One builds from a place of freedom. The other from a deep desire to finally be seen.
Ambition or need to prove oneself?
Your ambition and drive can contain an unhealthy need to prove yourself. You then go to the absolute limit to be seen, to receive recognition or validation, and you can start chasing things in your life from that need, rather than from who you are at your core.
For example, to gain recognition from your father or mother, in the hope that they will see you as you truly are.
Ask yourself:
- Are you doing it because you want to prove something and need the outside world to validate your worth?
- Or does it stem from who you truly are, what you really want to achieve, and what you have to offer?
Due to recent astrological shifts, themes such as the right to exist, self-worth, self-expression, authenticity, and autonomy are being activated. What role do you play in the bigger picture and how do you fulfill that based on your own talents and qualities? At the same time, it may become apparent where you need the outside world to feel valuable.
Who or what determines your course?
That is where the real development lies, clearly distinguishing from which energy you want to achieve something and resolving unhealthy forms of a need to prove oneself. Because as long as you need validation, the outside world still determines a part of your course.
When you no longer have to perform to be seen, or to receive recognition or validation, you can start to realize what is truly fitting for you and your own life plan.
That is exactly what we during the Development Trajectory: Energetic Self-Management & Leadership working on. Bringing you back layer by layer to your own core, energy, and strength, causing you to accept and recognize yourself, so that you no longer have to seek this in the outside world.
