Who: Erica van den Hoorn, HR Specialist and Founder of Bounderei
Why:“I learned from Astrid and Jarno that you can take a lot more control over your own life, and they demonstrate that themselves. I wanted to learn more about that.”
“Limiting beliefs, inner saboteurs, and clutter are out of my system. I feel so much freer and lighter.”
Acknowledgement: I am not crazy
Erica van den Hoorn: “As a daughter of a forest ranger, I learned from a young age to be completely open. I was one with nature, and that felt like home. From high school onwards, my world grew, and I unconsciously let in all the energies from my surroundings.".
I was easily irritated, angry, or happy without any particular reason. I also didn't understand why people didn't understand me or even said that what I felt or saw wasn't real. I was often called crazy. A search of years to discover that I can perceive and feel more than others. With Jarno and Astrid, I found a listening ear and recognition.
Taking charge of your life
I heard about Lead a normal life through a friend and first had a healing session with Jarno. During that first session, I had no idea what was happening. Once I was back home, I noticed in certain situations, "Hey, I'm reacting differently than I normally would." Something truly changed within me.
After that, I took the workshop "What Do I Want" with Astrid (this has since been incorporated into the program). Energetic Self-Management and LeadershipI applied what I had learned to my life and realized that you can have much more control over your life. I wanted to learn more about that.
Practice what you preach
An important reason for me to follow a program at Lead a normal life is that Astrid and Jarno are continuing their lives. what they teach you. Many educators, trainers, and coaches pretend to be something they are not, but don't live according to their own teachings. That's different here. Who they are and what they do is an example of how it can be.
When I started this journey, I didn't have a clear idea of the impact it would have. I wanted to grow spiritually. But along the way, I realized that I've grown more in my self-direction and in creating my own world. It's truly life-changing.
Freer and lighter with overview and control
I notice that so many limiting beliefs, inner saboteurs, and baggage have been removed from my system through the healings. I feel much freer and live lighter. It also provides much more focus and overview. Because you gain a much clearer view of what is yours and what belongs in your life.
It's precisely the combination with insight, attitude, and behavior that makes the journey so powerful. Healings open the gate and remove the burden of energy, but you still have to do it yourself. No matter how spiritual you are, you have to show it in your daily life, in your behavior, and your actions.
Aha! moments and revelations
Listening to yourself, being true to yourself, and acting on it. So that you get closer and closer to your own authenticity. Of course, you'll get help to clarify insights, but not in the usual way.
These are insights that come to you. A kind of "aha" moments. These penetrate deep into your very core, making it impossible for you not to act on them. With gentleness and compassion, without judgment.
The section on astrology is also such an eye-opener. It was a huge revelation for me. How it all connects, the direction it provides, and with which you can recalibrate where you stand and what you're working on for yourself. I find it astonishing, almost scary, how accurate it is.
Visibility from authenticity
The journey has brought me a lot. I have become visible. Authentic. To myself and others. I dare to show myself from my heart in words and deeds. In the beginning, that felt very vulnerable and unsafe. But actually, it isn't.
You listen to who you are and express that step by step. Taking responsibility and ownership for who you are. With all the good and also the less good sides of yourself. Looking at yourself with softness and compassion, without judgment. I have come home to myself.”
