What is the Difference between Karma and Life Lessons?
Your karma consists of commitments and contracts you have made. They are energetic life lessons that keep coming back until they are concluded or resolved. Many of the situations that arise in your life stem from karma.
Most Important Life Lessons: Wound of the Soul
The most important life lessons and associated karma commitments are related to a wound of your soul that your higher consciousness (your true self) wants to heal in this lifetime. Situations come your way to reveal the problems of the wound so that you can address and resolve them.Â
When something comes back as a thread in your life, it is a problem from other lives that you are insensitive to. You don't notice the problem in yourself, so it has to manifest again and again in situations.
Where Does Karma Come From?
After you die, it takes an average of seven (earthly) years for you to reincarnate. After you die, it takes an average of seven (earthly) years for you to reincarnate. This period is necessary to detach from the lived life, to learn in the universe, and to prepare for another life. This period is also called an intermediate life. In the two years preceding the birth of a life, your higher consciousness (your true self) writes your life plan, appropriate to the zeitgeist on Earth.Â
Your life plan includes karma commitments and life lessons. Karma commitments to karma that you have to resolve and karma commitments to karma that another has to resolve with you. Your higher consciousness oversees the whole of all your lives and intermediate lives, makes karma commitments, and makes agreements with the higher consciousness of other people about the life in which this is being worked on. So although the full life plan is "only" written two years prior to your life, the agreements to work on certain karma commitments in this life are often much "older."Â
